なにげにJay LenoのTonight Showを見ていたら、このフラッシュムービーの作者兄弟が出ていた。何でもこのサイト、２週間で２０００万ヒットしたそうである。さらに驚いたのは作者の一人はMBA持ちの投資銀行家だったそうで、それをすべて捨ててこの道に賭けたんだそうだ。
よかったよかった、ヒットしたし、Jay Lenoの番組にも出れたし。
が、そうでもないようだ。元歌の著作権保持者からこのムービーを削除するように迫られているらしい：
For the last few weeks, the JibJab site and their amusing political parody of Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land" has been getting passed around the net. It's well done, and deserves much of the praise it's been getting. However, it appears the folks who own the rights to Woody Guthrie's music are anything but pleased, and are demanding that JibJab stop distributing the flash movie.
