ここに書いた太っ腹スバルのツール・ド・フランスブロガー企画、既に当選者による追っかけブログが始まっています。今日はLance Armstrong含むTeam Discovery Channelのチームメンバーと会ったそうです。マスコミとはひと味違う、ブログならではの内容が面白いです。たとえば、
Johan entered first and shook everyone's hand followed by George Hincapie and Chechu Rubiera. They answered a bunch of questions including the fact that stage 8 was a real disappointment and had nothing to do with tactics and everything to do with performance. Both Lance and Johan were pissed. So pissed that Rubiera told us that he volunteered to do all the work on the Alscace climb yesterday to please his boss!
やはりステージ８（Lanceを除くメンバー全てが脱落した登り）の夜は、Johan（チームマネージャ）とLanceの怒りは相当だったようで、Chechu Rubieraが次の日のAlscaceの登り全てを彼が引き受けると申し出てようやく収まったそうな。。。道理でステージ９は整然とチーム一丸となっていたわけですね。
また、Lance直々に聞いた所では、
The goal for tomorrow? In the words of Lance Armstrong himself, "I want to be back in Yellow."
明日はYellow Jerseyを奪い返す！だそうです。本気になったLance Armstrong & Team Discovery Channel、さてどうなるでしょうか。。。
ところで話は変わって”太っ腹スバル”といえば、Gary Fisher Team Jerseyをプロモで配る企画がありました。ずーっと送ってこなかったんでこれはダメかも、と思いかけていたんですが、今日ようやく手元に：
MTBのジャージを着てロードバイクに乗るのも節操がないですが、とりあえずスバル乗りということで。。。
