このThe Boston Globeの記事によれば、OptOutPrescreen.comでクレジット・カードや種々の保険の勧誘DMを断ち切ることが出来るそうです。Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)という法律でクレジットリポートを販売している会社（例えばExperian, Equifax, TransUnionなど）、が信販会社や保険会社に消費者のリストを渡すことが許されているらしい。で、消費者にはそれを拒否する権利があり、このウェブサイトでそれを一括して行うことが出来ます。
とりあえずウェブ上で出来る5年間のDM拒否をやってみました。さてどうなるか。
