Tech Tip from Speedplay: Spring is here! Be sure to grease your Speedplay Pedals as part of your spring bike maintenance and continue to do so regularly. We recommend that Speedplay pedals be greased with a pump-type grease gun at least every 2,000 miles or every three months. Pedals should be greased immediately after riding in wet, rainy, or unusually dusty conditions. Grease is cheap insurance to prevent bearing damage and to keep the high precision bearings in Speedplay pedals rolling smooth for thousands of miles to come. 2,000マイルまたは3ヶ月ごと、特に雨の後は直後にやれとある。前回いつやったか思い出せないぐらい前かも。しかも雨の中も走ったしな。で、久々やったら、
グリースの通路が糞詰まりの様子。手前のキャップを押し上げてその隙間から漏れてきてしまっている。これは完全にバラしてお掃除が必要かも。
