カリフォルニア観光紹介サイト、"Visit California"。もう随分前にLevi Leipheimerが出てたのを書いたけど、そこにManresaの三ツ星シェフ、David Kinchのインタビューが。
この中に、

もとチャリ通勤路だったここがカリフォルニアの初仕事だったのか〜。
なんかさらに親近感が湧く。しかも「サンタクルーズ・マウンテンズ」がカリフォルニア一番の赤白ワイン産地と言ってはばからないし。

プレイリストに入れなくても頭から離れなくなります。いやしかしDavid Kinch、東海岸で生まれてその後ずいぶん長らくNOLAに住んでた(なのでThe Bywater起こした)んだけど、真のカリホルニウムじゃなかったCalifornianと言って良いんじゃないかな。
