VTAで検討中らしい。この、Guadalupe Hwy(Hwy87)の85と101の間、サウスベイで一番渋滞する道路。
ここに通勤時間に"Flexible Commuter Lane"を導入しよう、という案があるらしい。
この"flex commuter lane"、通勤時間に今迄緊急用に開けていた路肩部分を通勤レーンとして使おう、というもの。有料にするかどうかはまだ未定だけれど、これで渋滞緩和するなら大賛成。

In addition to his flex lane idea, Khamis wants to see an off-street bike route created to connect the Los Alamitos and Guadalupe trails from the southern end of the city to downtown San Jose.
Guadalupe Trailを延長して、Almadenのトレイルまでバイクトレイルを連結しよう、という案も。おお、これが完成すれば会社まで全部バイクトレイルでチャリ通可能かも。
