Lispと言ったらやっぱり"List Processor"だけれど、こんな意味もあることを例によってQuoraで。
This is not a lisp. The correct pronunciation of z and of c before i and e in Iberian Spanish is θ - that is the sound that we make when we pronounce the English words “th” in “thick” and “thank”. If you say “thank you” to me, I will not immediately accuse you of lisping.
スペインのスペイン語の"z"及び(i,eの前の)"c"の正しい発音は英語の"th"と同じ。だからこれは"lisp"ではない、ということなんだけど、イギリス人はこのスペイン語の正しい"th"発音を多用するんだそう。勢い余って"Barcelona"の"ce"も"th"発音、でこれは間違い。もともとカタラン語だから。
ああこれはアメリカ人がやる「ハバニェ〜ロ」と同じですね。
