外食

といっても裏庭で夕飯。

 最高に気分いい。

 去年はパンデミックで気分があまり上がらず、外であまり食べなかったけど、今年は多分外食が多くなる気配。

Costcoでこんなの調達。

 温めるだけで即座にタコスの具になるやつ。ブレイズドポークに緑サルサ。ということでトルティーヤは自家製で。masa flourがちょうど後一食分残ってたんで。

 ようやくまともに焼けるようになってきた。ポイントは加水率抑えめにすること。水が多いとうまく薄く広がらない。

一口食べて、なんか物足りない感がしたけれどあれだ、ライムだ。ということで庭からもいできて事なきを。木になってるのはこういうとき便利。しかし意外といける味であった。

よもぎパン

雑草状態にはびこるヨモギ。

 もう春は過ぎてしまったけど、使わないのはもったいない。穂先のあたりの柔らかそうなやつを収穫。

 前回と同じ様に、湯がいて潰してドウに投入。

 混ぜ物の中で、ピュレ状のものが一番扱いやすい。

 なんとなく左右で膨らみが違うのは何故だろう。

先日のVTAのmass-shooting関連のニュースで。

Upon questioning from a supervisor, a coworker reported that another unnamed employee stated of Cassidy: "He scares me. If someone was to go postal, it’d be him."

 "postal"って郵便以外の意味があるのかと思って調べたら、そうではなくて文字通り"US Postal"から。

Going postal is an American English slang phrase referring to becoming extremely and uncontrollably angry, often to the point of violence, and usually in a workplace environment. The expression derives from a series of incidents from 1986 onward in which United States Postal Service (USPS) workers shot and killed managers, fellow workers, and members of the police or general public in acts of mass murder. Between 1970 and 1997, more than 40 people were killed by current or former employees in at least 20 incidents of workplace rage. Between 1986 and 2011, workplace shootings happened roughly twice per year, with an average of 11.8 people killed per year.^[1]
