Endurolytes or nuun?

これから暑くなるけれど、そんな中走るときに必須なのが電解質補給。普段はHammerのEndurolytesを使ってるけれど、こんな記事を目にした。

Given that we sweat out 600ml of sodium/L of sweat/Hour, with nuun having more sodium than Endurolytes, nuun would be better for cyclists because you need to drink more water to have them be effective. This makes more sense simply because you can consume a lot more fluid on a bike during a ride/race than you would want to consume running.

However, for runners, since you would need less fluids to get the benefits of Endurolytes, they make more sense in that application because of their capsule form, ease of portability as well as being easily digestible.

要約すると、(ランニングに比べて)より多くの水分を摂取できる自転車には単純にsodiumの多いNuumの方が向いているらしい。逆にカプセルのため少ない水分でも摂取しやすいEndurolytesはランナー向きとのこと。
まあEndurolytesでもたくさん摂取すれば自転車でもいいんじゃないか、とも思うけれど、次はNuumを試してみようかな。
