下のエントリーのコメントでも書いたけど、北インドは紅茶文化、南はコーヒー文化なんだそう。カフェテリアにこんなコーナーがあったんで早速注文。
出てきたのがこれ、
既にミルクと砂糖が入っていて、コーヒー牛乳系。調べたら南インド独特のコーヒーらしい。
Indian filter coffee is a coffee drink made by mixing frothed and boiled milk with the decoction obtained by brewing finely ground coffee powder in a traditional Indian filter. The drink is also known as kaapi (the South Indian phonetic rendering[citation needed] of "coffee"), Kumbakonam degree coffee, Mylapore filter coffee, or Madraskaapi. Outside India, the term "filter coffee" may refer to drip brew.
なんでも20%ほどチコリが混ざっているらしい。これはニューオーリーンズのあれと共通するものがあるな。
