共和党ディベートを見ていて、奥に聞かれて意味がわからなかった言葉。「キーストーン・パイプラインを"eminent domain"で」という文脈だったけど、"eminent"と"domain"、個々の単語だけじゃ意味がよくわからない。

要するに国の政策のために私有地を買い上げること。キーストーン・パイプラインを実現するのに必要な土地を確保する、という意味だった様子。
