 ベトナム料理の米粉ヌードルにグリルドポークを載せたもの。ということを今日偶然学んだ。アジア人には発音しやすい響きなのかも。

で、"bun cha"はこの記事にでてきたんだけど、

Grand Century Mall and Vietnam Town shopping centers, both on Story Road, mark the central artery of San Jose’s Vietnamese community. They are bustling one-stop emporiums for everything from tax services to beauty products. Specialty stores stock dried and pickled foods, perfumes, and pottery. Piles of shriveled squid, neon yellow mangoes, and chili-spiced jerky sit alongside statues of Buddha and tubes of moisturizer. Stalls offer bun cha, bahn mi, and pho. The surrounding neighborhood is replete with Asian grocery stores, clothing stores, and even more pho restaurants.

やっぱりサンノゼのベトナミーズ街は最強らしい。

San Jose is America’s tenth most populous city and one of its most diverse. It has a massive Vietnamese population—larger than any city outside Vietnam.
