"carnage"
まあ通常は大虐殺とかそんな意味だけど、トランプが演説中に妙な使い方をしたらしい。

もちろんここで「虐殺」だと意味が通じないんでサーチワードとして急上昇したわけだけど、比喩的に「荒廃した様」を表しているんだそう。Merriam-Webster自体にはエントリーがないけれど、
