= 我々。中1で習うとおりなんだけど、これを一人称単数（つまり自分）として扱うケースが有る。
最近某メールリストで盛り上がった"we"。"we"って誰だよ？というツッコミから出てきたのがこのリンク。
Only kings, presidents, editors, and people with tapeworms have the right to use the editorial ‘we’.
「一人称単数で"we"を使っていいのは王様、編集者、それにお腹にサナダムシがいるやつだけ（つまり相手の意見に同意しない、ということ）」というマーク・トウェインの引用なんだけど、 それの起源をさかのぼったもの。もちろん最後のサナダムシはジョークだけれど、初めの2つはそれぞれちゃんと英語として認められている。
王様版は"royal we":

「勝手に"we"に自分を含むな」という考えは個人主義の現れだと思うけど、それと正反対なのがこの"generic you"：

The generic you is primarily a colloquial substitute for one.[1][2] For instance,

"you"を一般的な個人として使うもの。 特に"You don't want to 〜"とかね。お前に言われたくねーよ、と思うけど、これは一般的なことを言ってるんで悪く取らないように。これって日本の学校で教えてるかなぁ？習った覚えないけど結構重要。
