Olympus Rally以来のアメリカ大陸のラリーが終了。FordのMartinが優勝。Solbergペナルティ、Loebジャンプ失敗の後オイル漏れでリタイアなど、ごたごたの中の勝利。
Martinのコメント（WorldRallyNews.comより）：
"For a change luck was on our side. It's the first time we've benefited from other people's bad luck. It was a very hard weekend. It feels like ten points to me, not a victory."
今まで不運に泣かされてきたMartinならではのコメントである。緒戦Monte Carlo、第２戦Swedenと勝利し、去年ここMexicoでレッキを行ったLoeb圧倒的有利との下馬評だったが、ふたを開ければこれである。これだからWRCはおもしろい。
