前も書いたけれど、少なくともここカリフォルニアでは「自転車走行禁止」と明示的に禁止されていなければ、どんな道でも公道なら自転車走行可能。今日のマーキュリーニュースより：

Q During a recent bike ride north along Skyline Boulevard through Burlingame, I noticed somebody has removed the bicycle access sign to I-280 from Trousdale Avenue. This is a short half-mile or so stint on the freeway in the breakdown lane and is not unsafe during daylight hours, and is still allowed in the south direction between Hillcrest Drive and Trousdale. The alternative is a quite lengthy dangerous hard descent and ascent in a very hilly area that is not marked if you don't know the area. Can you please check with Caltrans and find out why the sign was removed?

A The sign was mistakenly taken out and will be replaced. Bicyclists are allowed to use that stretch on I-280.
