１１時のニュースを見ていて思い出したが、今朝久しぶりに地震発生。
A moderate-to-strong earthquake and a series of aftershocks centered in a remote area about 135 miles south of San Jose shook much of Central California and the Bay Area this morning, triggering dreaded memories of a temblor that killed two people in Paso Robles last winter.
この辺はビルがゆーらゆら揺れるだけだったが、震源地のセントラルカリフォルニアは結構揺れたらしい。
そういえば去年のPaso Roblesの地震の時は丁度近くを旅行中で、泊まる予定だったホテルがダメージを受けていてyellow tapeを巻かれて立ち入り禁止に。あの時はどうなることかと思ったが、今思えば旅行の思い出の１つになっている。
現金なもんである。
