Tour of California、今年は去年の130万人を上回る160万人の観客が集まったそうで、ランス・アームストロング引退後もアメリカのサイクリング熱いまだ上昇中という記事がactive.comに載ってました。その中でSpecialized Angelについての言及があったんですが、それに依ればTour of Californiaに降臨されていたのはJana Iretonという天使さんだそうです。
While football teams have mascots, the Amgen Tour of California has its own Specialized Angel. The beautiful, winged Jana Ireton raised the level of excitement along the tour by blowing kisses and waving to the cyclists as they cruised by. Europe may have a devil at the Tour de France, but the Specialized Angel brings the heavenly side of cycling to the US.
