対応する日本語ってなんだろうと思って調べたら、一応「内破」とあったけれど、普通あまり使わないような。というのも今日のニュースで映画監督のJames Cameronがマリアナ海溝の深淵に潜ったという記事があった：

「水漏れしたら（強烈な水圧のため）一瞬で潜水艦が"implode"するだろう」という表現。なるほどね、これはまさにexplodeの反対だよな。
