Six months after she became the first white shark to survive for any length of time in captivity, the Monterey Bay Aquarium's prize exhibit was put back into the ocean today, 100 pounds heavier than when she arrived.
もう見ることが出来ないのかと思うとちょっと残念ですが、水族館の人が下した判断ならば、最善策なのでしょう。ちなみに保育されていた６ヶ月の間、このホオジロザメは"all-American appetite"を示し（笑）、体長152cmから194cm、体重28kgから73kgに育ったそうです。すごい。
