例のベーグルの姉妹品、"bialy"についての記事を読む。
Bodega Bayという所がサンフランシスコの北にあって、前から変な名前だと思ってた。ヒッチコックの「鳥」のロケ地でもあるんだけど、単なる固有名詞かと思っていたら、上の記事で、

ということで調べたら「雑貨店」という一般名詞。ニューヨークだから田舎の雑貨店というか、コンビニみたいなもんなのかも。
