アメリカの地理に疎いんで、ウェストバージニア、東部の州という認識しかなかったんだけど、サブタイトルが"Trump, Guns, and God"。んで、番組見だしたら基本アパラチア山脈の山国、炭鉱が基本産業とか知らないことばかり。
んで、一番驚いたのが英語のアクセント。これ、完璧な南部訛りだよなぁ。なぜ？？？
Appalachian English is American English native to the Appalachian mountain region of the Eastern United States. というか、この放送見てまず頭に浮かんだのが自分の好きな映画、"O Brother Where Art Thou"。まんまこの世界。"Trump, Guns, and God"、どれも自分の考えとは合わないけど、この世界は純粋に良いと思う。
